Palm Tree is a garden dedicated solely to the interment of cremated remains. It is specifically designed for human remains, offering a unique and meaningful approach to commemoration. Instead of traditional tombstones, a memorial wall is incorporated as a central element in this garden. Each person laid to rest in Palm Tree will be remembered through the placement of their names on the memorial wall, ensuring their legacy endures.

By foregoing tombstones and embracing the memorial wall concept, Palm Tree fosters a sense of unity and remembrance. It provides a serene and dignified final resting place where families can honor their loved ones’ memories and celebrate their legacies. The absence of physical markers allows the focus to be placed on the collective remembrance of those who have found their eternal peace in Palm Tree.

This thoughtful design ensures that the essence of each individual’s life is forever etched in the memorial wall, creating a lasting tribute that resonates with visitors. Palm Tree stands as a place of reverence and reflection, where the memories and legacies of loved ones are perpetually cherished.

  4.

4.Post-War Era: After World War II, the Philippines gained independence from the United States in 1946. In the subsequent years, efforts were made to develop the country’s infrastructure and economy, and Samal Island saw gradual progress and growth.

5.Creation of Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS): On January 30, 1998, Samal Island was officially declared the Island Garden City of Samal through Republic Act No. 8471. This designation aimed to promote and develop the island’s natural beauty, pristine beaches, and tourism potential.
